Screen printing or Direct-to-Garment (DTG)
Printing Technology
We offer you T-shirt printing via traditional screen printing or the newer direct-to-garment (DTG) printing method. At Al Masa Advertising, we pride ourselves on our high-quality printing. No matter the T-shirt printing process we use, the outcome will be fantastic. However, there are a few differences in relation to the printing method.
DTG printing creates your custom design using a single layer of ink, whereas screen printing uses several layers. This means that screen printing will produce a more vibrant design. However, screen printing is limits the number of colours you can use.
DTG gives a slightly more faded look but your colour options are far more extensive.
Based on your design and the number of T-shirt you order, we select the best printing option to provide you with the best result, for the cheapest price.
Typically, for order, below 10 T-shirts, we print in DTG, for more than 10 T-shirts we use screen printing, to always provide you with the best quality for the best price.
Transfer Printing
Transfer printing is the technique where the design is added primarily on the non-textile and then transferred to your textile product.
- Transfer printing is the best way to guarantee the exact colour match.
- Great for graphic details with great transferring accuracy on the fabric.
- Easy creation of more elaborate patterns and design.
- Design printed on non-fabric product before being pressed on the fabric guarantees a greater end product.
Transfer printing is a durable and high-quality method. Great for vibrant and full colour designs.
Q&A
Showing 5 out of 5 Questions
Q: How to design T-shirts?
• You can submit your own design file if you’ve got the artwork prepared and are ready to print. The ideal format is PDF-1A. Just upload your file to our website and you’re ready to go!
• Still don’t have a design? Buy one of our existing templates and make your own custom T-shirt by entering your variable data.
• Perhaps you have a T-shirt with a design you’d like to replicate, but don’t have the art file. We can replicate any design from any existing T-shirt.
• The final option is to let one of our designers create your T-shirt for you from scratch. We can do so to your exact specifications.
Q: How do I know which type of material to choose?
Our 100% cotton T-shirts are a better option if you are looking for durability.
Choose this option if you want to resell your custom T-shirt or need a unique garment that will stand the test of time.
Q: Is the colour of my T-shirt that important?
